Electric Cinema - Hastings

The Electric Palace Cinema was founded in 2002. 39A High St, Hastings TN34 3ER

They are a not for profit 'Community Interest Company.' Their running costs rely on ticket sales and bar profits. Whilst five part-time staff do the work of programming, managing and marketing, a team of 30 dedicated volunteers host their events. The volunteers look after the audience and take an active part in bringing new events, new expertise and ideas to the cinema. 

Join us for our new bi-monthly queer cinema night on Tuesdays.

Working in partnership with Peccadillo Pictures, the UK's first and original queer film distribution company, each film will be accompanied by a Directors' Q&A from the ICA in London and include the opportunity for a post-film social in our unique cinema bar.
