This is an additional meeting time and place for the Eastbourne Rainbow Group, we are now meeting on the second Wednesday of each month in the "Pantry Cafe" at the AGE Concern Venton Centre from 10.00 am to 11.15 am, and all existing and new members are invited to join us for a chat.Sometimes during the meetings we can be too busy with other matters that we do not have quite the time for other conversations. We do like to talk to everyone about all matters which are important to our members, and to try to help where we can.

General News

Over the past few months we have been in regular contact with AGE Concern at the Venton Centre and lately we have been working with them towards re-starting our meetings. All has gone well, we have managed to work out how best to safely hold our meetings. The latest directives however about how many people can now meet up has meant that our plans are now on hold until these restrictions are eased.

The Pantry Cafe within the Venton Centre has re-opened serving tea/coffee, homemade cakes and lunches. Opening hours are 9.30am to 3pm on Wednesdays,Thursdays and Fridays. So please come along and support the owners of this business.

The British Film Institute have on their website a selection of free LGBT films to view.

The web address is: https://player.bfi.org.uk/free/collection/lgbt-britain

I have not made this a direct link as some people do not like to click on links directly at the moment. So please type the address into your browser yourself.

Hope you enjoy the films

In the meantime take care and stay safe
