Sunday Afternoon Films at the Under Ground Theatre

On the first Sunday of the month from October to December

The Under Ground Theatre below Eastbourne's Central Library is showing classic films at 2.30 pm on Sunday afternoons from October to December.

 

The programme is as follows:

Sunday 2nd October - 'Dressed to Kill' (1946 BW 72 min)

Basil Rathbone stars as Sherlock Holmes and Nigel Bruce as Watson who are on a mission to uncover stolen printing plates.

 

Sunday 6th November - 'In Which We Serve' (1942 BW 106 min)

Noel Coward stars in this great wartime film, co-directed by David Lean.It follows the lives of the crew of the destroyer HMS Torrin, their duties and hopes.

 

Sunday 4th December - Charade (1963 COL 113min)

Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn star in one of the best ever comedy thrillers with great dialogue and plot.

James Coburn and Walter Matthau co- star and Stanley Donen was the director.

 

Venue and cafe bar open at 2 pm.
