Review of the Film Outing to the Curzon Cinema!

to see "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel"

Six of us went to the Curzon Cinema last Monday the 5th of March to see the new film "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" starring Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith, Tom Wilkinson and Dev Patel,  a group of British retirees decide to move to India to embrace the adventures of starting a new life there.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the film, which was both funny and poignant, the one liners were superb, and the kind of film that you would be happy to see again, the two hours passed so quickly.

The film,  finished at 7.15pm and then we all adjourned across the road to the Odyssey Fish & Chip restaurant for supper and after to the Buccaneer pub for a drink and further chats about the evening.

[The cost was £4.50 for 60+ to see the film, the Fish supper worked out at approx £6.90 plus drinks and a drink at the Pub, which we all thought was a reasonable evening out]
