Help and Support (Covid-19) - East Sussex Council
About Us - Eastbourne Rainbow is an LGBTQ group for the 50+ Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual and Transgender communities living in Eastbourne and the surrounding area for socialising, making new friends, gaining support and receiving information relative to the group.
For more information - email email@example.com or telephone on 07516 670654 (text and voice mail only)
The group is part of AGE Concern Eastbourne and meetings take place once a month in the Venton Centre in Junction Road, Eastbourne BN21 3QY. But at the moment because of the current situation with Covid-19 meetings have been suspended.
We are planning to re-start our monthly afternoon meetings in July providing the current restrictions continue to be lifted and it is safe for everyone to return.
Over the past few months we have been in regular contact with AGE Concern at the Venton Centre and lately we have been working with them towards re-starting our meetings. All has gone well, we have managed to work out how best to safely hold our meetings.
At the moment Eastbourne is in Tier 4 together with the rest of East Sussex so until enough restrictions are lifted we are unable to meet as a group. Hopefully the roll out of vaccination will go some way to improving the situation.
